| Board of Directors As a fraternal society, ACA is responsible to its members and each member has the right to be involved in the governance of the Society. Every three years, members, through their local chapters, elect delegates to represent them at the Society's Convention. At the Convention, changes to the Society's Constitution and By-Laws are discussed and voted upon and the delegates elect a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors represents the members during the three-year period between conventions. The Board of Directors is vested with all the executive, administrative and disciplinary powers of the Society and has custody of all its property. Working with the Society's management, they meet regularly to assure that ACA remains faithful to its mission. Members of the Board of Directors
